Privacy at a glance: BabyTalk processes microphone audio on your device. The app does not transmit audio, create an account, show ads, or use analytics.

Information BabyTalk uses

BabyTalk uses microphone access to listen for nearby sounds and replay audio while monitoring is active. Audio processing happens locally on your device. BabyTalk does not upload or sell microphone audio.

Information stored on your device

The app stores preferences such as amplification, auto-start, reply voice, display choices, and onboarding completion. These settings remain in the app's private storage. Depending on your Android backup configuration, preferences may be included in an encrypted device or cloud backup managed by Android.

Permissions

Sharing and third parties

BabyTalk does not share personal information with advertisers or analytics providers. The app does not include advertising, analytics, or social-tracking SDKs.

Children's privacy

BabyTalk is a tool for parents and caregivers. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children and does not provide child-directed accounts or online services.

Data deletion

You can remove locally stored settings by clearing BabyTalk's app data or uninstalling the app. Android-managed backups can be controlled through your device's backup settings.
